Bringing our school community together
We are delighted to welcome all families to Tyntesfield Primary School Parent‑Teacher Association (PTA).
The PTA is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive group that plays an important part in school life. Everyone connected to the school is automatically a member, and all parents and carers are warmly invited to get involved in whatever way suits them.
You do not need special skills, lots of time or previous experience — every contribution matters.
Who we are
The PTA is a registered charity, led by a small volunteer committee and supported by parents and carers who generously give their time to help our school.
Our committee and volunteers reflect the diversity of our school community. We value:
-
different cultures, languages and backgrounds
-
different ideas and experiences
-
different levels of availability and confidence
Whether you can help a little or a lot, you are welcome here.

What we do
Our main role is to support the school and enrich children’s experiences by:
-
bringing families together through enjoyable community events
-
raising money to benefit all pupils
-
providing “little extras” that make school even more memorable
We also believe in the importance of connection and friendship — the PTA is a place to meet new people, build relationships and have fun together.

How PTA fundraising helps our children

book bags for Reception children
-
new library books for every class
-
£10,000 of playground equipment
-
resources for Early Years

Year 6 leavers’ gifts
Every event, donation and bit of help makes a real difference for our children.
